8. GETTING TANKED

Today I got together all the tank fittings.
Ratting an old rusty dead Honda tank I liberated the two tank rubber holders.
Then on to the lathe I turned down a brass
3/8" bsp nut that got hard soldered to a piece of steel strap to form the fuel tap thread.
The alloy B.A.P. fuel tap is for a British bike but it is only on or off,no reserve position.
An alloy quick release flush mount cap will look good  as this build is meant to be in the 90's style. Six stainless m4 screws & matching 'T' nuts will secure it on.
